On March 12, the RA NA Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia Timur Urazayev.

Positively assessing the Armenian-Kazakh current relations the RA NA Vice President highlighted the further development of the inter-parliamentary relations and the role of the Friendship Groups in that issue. He noted that Armenia-Kazakhstan Friendship Group, where representatives from all factions would be involved, would be formed in the near future.

In terms of voicing regional problems and its effective solution Vahe Enfiajyan highlighted the activities of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration created in the National Assembly of the seventh convocation.

The RA NA Vice President underlined the cooperation in the international structures, particularly in the CSTO and the EEU.

Emphasizing the expansion of the inter-parliamentary relations and the activation of the mutual visits, the Ambassador has underlined the necessity of enlivening the cooperation in a number of spheres and has documented that in this issue there is considerable unused potential. Timur Urazayev has underscored with satisfaction that in the last two years the volume of the goods turnover has increased, which is also the result of the EEU positive influence.

The sides touched upon the necessity of the organization of the meetings between the Armenian and Kazakh entrepreneurs, the activation of the economic ties and the opportunities of the provision of the favourable investment environment.

The Ambassador presented details about the examination procedure of the murder occurred in the city of Karaganda.
